"Share the Air" Air Conditioner Project
Begun in 2008, the "Share the Air" project is a joint effort between the Lebanon Noon Rotary and the Lebanon Breakfast Rotary to provide window-unit air conditioners to those in need. Working through the Mid-Cumberland Community Action Agency to locate candidates, the program is designed for the elderly, the disabled and those with small children who currently have no air conditioning in the home.Members of both Rotary Clubs install the units for the recipients.
During the last two years more than 70 homes have had air conditioners provided by this worthwhile project, and we hope to do even more in future years.
